H05V-K / H07V-K single-core wire: 0.12 to 4 mm² direct from the manufacturer
We manufacture flexible single-core PVC-insulated wire H05V-K and H07V-K (known in Poland as LgY) in Kozerki near Warsaw. For wiring of appliances, control panels, controllers and electronics: 9 cross-sections from 0.12 to 4 mm², 12 colours, custom colours and packaging on request.
What do H05V-K and H07V-K mean?
H is a harmonised type, 05 and 07 the rated voltage (300/500 V and 450/750 V), V PVC insulation and K a flexible, finely stranded copper conductor (class 5). We supply the smaller cross-sections (0.12 to 1 mm²) as H05V-K and the larger ones (1.5 to 4 mm²) as H07V-K.

Colours and custom colours
12 standard colours. Green-yellow is reserved for protective-earth (PE) conductors. Other, non-standardised insulation colours are made on request according to PN-91/T-90206 – for appliance and panel builders who need their own colour coding.

Properties
- Conductor: multi-stranded soft copper wires
- Insulation: lead-free PVC, RoHS compliant (up to RoHS III, (EU) 2015/863)
- Insulation resistance: at least 200 MΩ/km; voltage test 1,000 V AC
- Temperature range: fixed installations −10 to +80 °C, mobile −5 to +80 °C
- Flame retardant, tested to PN-EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1
- Complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU

Delivery and packaging
Supplied on spools or in heat-shrinkable foil; custom packaging on request (longer lead time). Most orders ship within 3–5 business days; free delivery for orders of €1,000 or more. The price per metre depends on the current copper price and quantity – we will gladly prepare a quote.
Note: fixed installation in buildings is subject to additional requirements (e.g. the Construction Products Regulation). Please check suitability for your application beforehand; we are happy to advise.

What is the difference between H05V-K and H07V-K?
The rated voltage and – in our range – the cross-section: H05V-K (300/500 V) for 0.12 to 1 mm², H07V-K (450/750 V) for 1.5 to 4 mm².
Is LgY the same as H05V-K?
In Poland “LgY” is the common name for flexible single-core PVC wire of this type; our catalogue lists both names.
Can you supply custom colours or packaging?
Yes, on request – colours according to PN-91/T-90206 and packaging to your specification (with a slightly longer lead time).
